Medical First Response Services
Trained St. John Ambulance volunteers provide first aid assistance at venues such as community fairs, concerts and sporting events across Leeds, Grenville and Lanark counties.
Car Seat Educator Team
St. John Ambulance Car Seat Educator Teams are made up of trained and certified volunteers. Our volunteers educate and coach parents/guardians in the use of child restraint systems.
Due to the COVID-19 Outbreak, our Car Seat Workshops have been cancelled until further notice. Please continue to use the registration form to indicate your interest in attending a workshop. We will contact anyone who registers to advise them when we are able to resume our workshops.
Therapy Dog Services
St. John Ambulance is committed to the thousands of Canadians who are confined to hospitals, nursing homes and special needs centres. Across Canada, St. John Ambulance volunteers and their dogs bring joy and four-legged companionship to young and old through regular visits under the Therapy Dog Program operated coast-to-coast in partnerships with hospitals, palliative care units, senior’s residences, special needs schools and day-care centres.
Youth Services Program
The St. John Ambulance Youth Program gives young people the chance to contribute to their communities by learning new skills and helping others. The Youth Services Program provides training in first aid, health care, life and safety skills and promotes social, educational and personal development through community service and leisure activities for youth between the ages of 12 and 17.
